Wow! That is quite the question, and I have an answer that sort of has to do with the title. You see, my dear mother went to make tea, and ummm she left to do the laundry. When she came back, the kitchen was filled with smoke. She yelled frantically, " GET OUT OF THE HOUSE !!!!!! IT'S ON FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!" Kendall and I immediately ran outside, and, to make it worse, we cried because we thought our pets were going to die and we would lose our stuff. (We never really saw the real fire). Finally, Mom said we could go back in the house, thank God! Dad and Mom immediately investigated the scene of the crime to find that she turned on the wrong burner, and that very burner had its cover on too! All that over a little thing of tea! No wonder we dumped it during the Revolutionary War. Our ancestors were trying to protect us from incidents like this!

Then there is the proposal to be wed with Edward that needs to be talked over and planned. Victoria and her clan are trying to kill Bella. Jacob is fighting his hardest to win Bella before it's too late. The Cullens and the werewolves are trying destroy Victoria and her clan. Bella has to explain to Jacob that she has chosen to be with Edward instead, but she still wants to be true friends.

12/10/07- Have you ever experienced major appliance failure in your home? What happened?
Wow! That is quite the question, and I have an answer that sort of has to do with the title. You see, my dear mother went to make tea, and ummm she left to do the laundry. When she came back, well, it wasn't pretty. - The End.
12/11/07- Rudolph Died. (bulb burned out) Name his replacement.
Okay, here's the deal. Rudolph didn't die, and he can't die either. He is forever (just like Santa Clause.) In a Christmas episode, Rudolph's bulb stopped burning because he lied a lot (during that time). Anyways apparently Lady Auroraborialis gave him her power to defeat some evil guy, but yeah, that's the story pretty much. Anyways, he tells the truth, defeats the evil character, and then he receives his power back again.
12/12/07- Favorite holiday cookie.
I don't have a favorite. I don't know why, but I know that I don't. Weird, huh? Oh well, sides forget the cookies, what about the presents?
12/14/07- What would you name a female calico kitten?
It's funny that you mention that because last September, I got a female calico kitten, but she was a stray. Right when I saw her, I was immediately reminded of Sassy from Homeward Bound. So, that is what I named her, but she isn't like the real Sassy in two ways. One, when we had our dog Tandem, she didn't fight with him like Chance and Sassy (but Tandem doesn't look like Chance). Two, she doesn't like shrimp. She refused just like the Sassy in the movie did, but she didn't eat it afterwards. I guess it isn't her favorite after all!

Journal Topics 11/26- 12/07/07 Well, we stick to our star because that's what we've always done. It represents the star of Bethlehem just like any other, but i still really like it. On the other hand, my grandma has a bow on top of hers. It's cute, but I still prefer the star. Pity the WVU fans? I am one, and I always WILL be one. Yes, the game wasn't good, but we can't read the players' minds. THEY WERE PRESSURED PROBABLY. Doesn't every team go through at least one bad game?
11/26/07- Any adventures over break?
I don't believe I had any real adventures this year, but I still had fun. Actually, I don't believe that this is a true adventure, but I did go shopping on Black Friday for the first time- ever! My Aunt Julie and Grandma took me, and I was very surprised to see all the packages people carried out with them! THEY HAD THEIR BUGGIES OVERFLOWING WITH TOYS!!!!!!!!
11/ 27/07 -Is our society too sensitive? Santa can't say "Ho - Ho - Ho" anymore!!!
Yes, people need to wake up because it's really getting ridiculous! If the Santa says, "Ha Ha Ha!", won't that sound as if he was laughing at them? If it does offend some people then wouldn't they really be the name they think he's calling them?
11/28/ 07- Should Lit taught in high school be censored?
I don't really know because I am neutral in this case. You don't mind either way, and I don't really care what anybody thinks about my beliefs. That's how I feel about it and I'm sticking to it.
11/29/07 -How early is too early for Christmas decorations?
There is no early for putting up Christmas decorations. If you really have the Christmas spirit, you can put 'em up whenever you like. Besides, what about the lyrics to a Gretchen Wilson song "and I keep my Christmas lights on on my front porch all year long...". Yeah, enough said.
11/30/07 -Christmas tree-topper: star, angel, or other?
12/07/07- Do you prefer a white Christmas . . . or would you rather experience warm winter weather?
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. I love the snow as long as there's heat indoors. Honestly, those warm sunny Christmas's just aren't right. Besides, it wouldn't be like in the movies if it wasn't cold and full of snow.

11/09/07- Is it fair to all clubs/organizations that the bulk of KHS fundraising goes toward the sports complex?
No, it's not fair. Those sports can raise the money themselves. Look at the band. We barely even have a field, and it's shared by soccer and sometimes freshman football. Too many people fall because of the poor condition, and it might be transformed into a parking lot. So why should we help? The clubs and organizations deserve the money. It's not the clubs' responsibility to raise the money for them!

Journal Topics 11/6-16/07
11/5/07- You won the lottery. What do you buy first?
Hmm. I would probably go for a wardrobe change. Of course, that would mean buying cute outfits that would look adorable, but I'd get myself a new red ford truck too.
11/6/07- Lottery winner... which of your friends/ family get a chunk?
I might give some to my friends, and most definately my family. I'd want to give my one aunt her own house with an awesome car because she deserves it! I would probably use most of it to get my own house somewhere in the mountains.
Lottery winner... will you still go to school/ get a job?
It depends on how much money I receive. Just kidding! Of course I'll continue my education! I probably will still go, but if I get a lot of money I will go to a different college. Maybe one in New York.
11/08/07- Lottery winner... would you donate it to charity? which one/ what kind?
I wouldn't donate the money because people can take the money and spend it on unnecessary items that don't even help the needy. Instead, I would buy the needed items with my money, and then donate them making sure that those in need have what I have given them. I would donate to as many needy charities as possible.
11/13/07- Are the current speed limits reasonable? OR should some be raised/lowered?
No, they are not reasonable at all. The speed limit for going to and from the high school should be at least twenty- five miles per hour. It's too slow especially for entering.
11/14/07- What's on the top of your Christmas list?
I don't have anything that I really want for Christmas. It's not as amusing for a teenager as it was when I was a kid. You could look through magazines and find a dump truck load of toys you wanted, and receive a whole bunch too, but now it's like what do I want. I mean there's not much to really choose from.
11/15/07- Have you been "naughty" or "nice"?
I have been nice overall, but I have gotten angry a few times. However, school can provide you with aggravating issues too often if you know what I mean. I'm not perfect, but I don't try to be because I know I can't. I try to be nice but I find that I fail at it a good bit sometimes more than I wish, but other times it feels good to just scream into a pillow and let it all out.
11/16/07- What's the most essential menu item in a Thanksgiving Dinner?
I don't really have a most essential item. It's too hard to pick from? I can't pick from all those food items.

At one point in our lives, we will be too old, but we're okay right now. Well, at least I think that we are. I actually tried to help take my younger sister and be one of the responsible adults. One of our neighbors threw a reese cup at me and said,"Here you go fairy grandmother!!!!!!" Ohh, it made me aggrivated. Not only was he making fun of my costume, but before he did, the whole Potomac State Baseball team laughed at me. Oh well, at least I wasn't the one running laps, right? If only it could be that simple, but that's life.

10/29/07- Which CW character is your favorite? Explain.
My favorite character in this book would have to be, but of course, Jerry because he's not afraid to stand up for what he believes is right. He stood up for himself when even when things got rough. Most importantly, Jerry wasn't afraid to say,"No", and that's one thing we all need to learn to say in life.
10/30/07-If you could go back and change one event in your past, which one could it be and why?
I have a lot of things that I wish I could change, but, sadly, they can't be. Thank God there is one event that I could. As a lot of people know, when I was only two years old, my Uncle Kenny was murdered. If I could, I would go back in time and save him somehow. Even if it would send me to Heaven because I wish I knew him better that much!
10/31/07- Promote a teacher to new principal (NOT ME) (explain your choice... be respectful of both teacher and current principal)
I would promote Mrs. Wimer or Mrs. Woy to be the new principal because they are both just awesome. They both would be perfect for the job regardless of anybodies opinions. Don't get me wrong though, Mr. Wimer seems pretty cool (I'm not trying to suck up or anything.)
11/01/07- Are you too old trick or treat?
If we are too old for trick or treating than what is the world coming to? Can't an innocent teenager redeem the satisfaction of receiving goods from kind neighbors. They are so sweet and thoughtful. Of course we should have that privilege, or we should at least go out dressed up in costumes to support the cause.
11/02/07- What's your dream vehicle? Explain.
I believe that everybody knows the answer to this simple question, but I will answer it again just for you, Mr Clark, because I'm just a "suck-up overachiever"! (Just kidding.) The vehicle that I have dreamed of owning since I was a little girl was my grandad's red '92 red Ford pickup truck. OH YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! Too bad if it's a hunting vehicle. The leftover deer blood can go somewhere else! I have wanted that truck for too long. How many people do you know that would be grateful for it?

10/24/07- Do you like to hunt? Why/ Why not?
I WANT TO HUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only, I have to learn first. I hope I can hunt turkeys. Since my dad doesn't have a son to hunt with, who else but his oldest daughter? DON'T even THINK about suggesting youngest either!

10/24/07- Do you like to hunt? Why/ Why not?
I want to learn how to hunt, but my parents haven't taught me yet. So far, I fish, and the others just "can't keep their eyes off me" because I catch Everything except the fish. Once, I caught a tree on the other side of the creek at New Creek. Another time, my line got caught under a rock, and I thought I caught a fish. Talk about EMMMMMMMMMMBARASING!!!! Even though I can't catch anything, I still have fun! The fish still bite and steal my gum! Evil fish!
10/25/07- Nearly nine weeks into the school year... has your initial new lunchtime opinion changed?
No. It's fine for me. I don't have a problem with it. Hmmmmm.... Or do I????????? ... It's a mystery... Actually, it's okay, but could it be longer? Hey! You can't blame a girl for trying. These next two sentences are way off topic. EXACTLY 2 MONTHS UNTIL CHRISTMAS, AND 8 months 'til my sweet sixteen! EEEEEKKKKK!!!!!
10/26/07- Do you (or will you someday) play the lottery? Explain.
Are you kidding? Of course I'm going to waste my money! Duh! Cause, yah know, I'm only gonna be a teacher. So I'll like have plenty of money! Just kidding. Too much sarcasm, huh? You gotta admit though it was kinda funny! Maybe a little... Okay barely... sheeesh... are ya happy now?

Extended Journal #2 - 10/19- Great job lousy pay...Lousy job great pay? Which one? Explain.
Considering the fact that our society has become much worse, by the time I reach the real world, It will most likely become a little/lot worse. I would rather pick a great job with lousy pay. When I am an employee, I would like to be treated with respect, and if it's a great job, then, maybe, my great employer will give me a raise! (A raise won't be a main concern though!) However, even if they don't. Money doesn't matter. It doesn't matter in the end, so why now? Yeah, I know why, but as long as I have all the necessary items and the Good Lord's blessing, I'll be the happiest girl ever. Let's see a rich, lonely person with a crappy job top that!

Extended Journal: 10/16/07- Of all the pet names you've ever heard which one had the coolest?
5) Tandem Max Keplinger (our dog)
4) Elvis (my grandma's neighbor's dog)
3) Fish Fred (our deceased pet fish) (IT LIVED FOR 7 YEARS!!!)
2) Gabrielle (my grandma's other neighbor's dog's name) (she named him after an arch angel of the Lord because he was a special blessing to her!) (HOW SWEET!!!)
1) Peekaboo (my special little kitty who plays hide and seek with me! What's even cuter is my little neighbor calls her "PEEK...BOO.!" awww)
Is it really my fault that I can't narrow it down???? Sorry? What? Our neighbors have awesome names for their pets thank you very much, but mine is the cutest because Peekaboo's such a cuuuttee kitty!!)

Journals 10/15/07 - 10/19/07
10/15- What is the most annoying pet naming convention?
I don't know, and it's not much of a topic that I concern about often. Okay, I did see some dog commercial thing. Anyways, the guy yells," MR. BARKY VON SHNOUSER!!!!!!!!! mr. barky von shnouser..." Yeah, I thought it was really stupid, but I'll admit it was funny, well... somewhat.
10/16- Of all the pet names you've ever heard which one had the coolest?
Well, I don't have a favorite, but I can't help it. I like all of our pets' names a lot. The same goes for our neighbors too!
10/18- Suggest three journal topic questions for future use.
For this journal, I shall arrange my ideas in a top three sequence.
3) What is/or was your favorite extra curricular activity?
2) What's your least favorite assignment?
1) Would you rather take a two hour test or practice with the band for two hours?
I really think that the others should do my number one journal because i'd love to see their answer. That's not as much as me wanting to actually see them attempt to march though. Just kidding guys!

10/09/07-How do you like your eggs?
(yeah, yeah- food again. Sue me, I'm hungry.)
Wow! Another random question! I'm okay with that, but why does it have to be about eggs? I don't really like them. I sort of like the scrambled eggs at 4H camp, but only if there's ketchup.
10/10/07-Write me a get well card/message/sentiment.
Dear Mr. Selfish English Teacher... I'm just kidding. I'm sorry that your lack of suntan lotion caused you to become a "red head". I hope that "hot head" cools down. You just cuddle up with your little superman comics and relax. No, seriously, I'm sorry that you don't feel well. Of course, I want you to get better. Well see you soon (at the Carlisle Competition) (just kidding again!)- Kendra
10/11/07-Redecorating is imminent... which three framed posters shoud go away and why?
I don't care which ones you get rid of as long as you don't take down the batman poster by the chalkboard. I like it a lot because it's really cool. I used to practically grow up with Batman, Spiderman, and other cartoons like that. I always remember watching Batman with my dad when I was three years old. Don't get rid of it- PLEASE!!!
10/12/07- Are or were you satisfied with your first marking period performance in this class?
I may not have received an A, but I'll be okay. 'Ya know? I mean life carries on, and I gave it my all. My B+ has the same amount of points as an A in a regular class. Yes, I am satisfied for getting a grade like this when I have band almost everyday.

Journal Topics 10/01-05/07
10/01/07- Did you have trouble completing the quotes assignment?
Yesss! Okay, I'll be honest, it was to a certain extent. Then again, I am a simple-minded person so there's your answer. Oh, by the way, thanks for the Air O Gram, and yes I rememebered to do my quotes, but not because of that. I'll have you know that made me laugh while I marched off the field!
10/02/07- Who is your hero?
('Cause it's, you know,"hero day.")
He preached daily in the temples, and died on the cross for our sins to be forgiven. Long after, another fought in the Korean war, battled cancer for ten years, and raised a family. Can you guess who my two heroes are? Here, I'll just give the answer. They are Jesus and Granddad. Both of them are amazing(but Jesus more because it's suppose to be that way), are my role models, and have been there for me whenever I needed someone. (Others have too though. I thank them as well.)
10/03/07- Critique each hallway's homecoming decour.
I wouldn't really know. They are all very nice to me, but most of them have either fallen or were torn. I can tell you this, however, the people who spent the time working on this deserve a round of applause for their hard work and a job well done.
10/04/07- Based on your life now- predict your death.
(Yay morid!)- ha ha Mrs. Warrick said "Morbid doom!"(for our show)
I predict that it will be like the movie Hangman's Curse. I will be like the character Ian who tries to hang himself to help someone else. So he can save another persons life. Maybe I will be crucified upside down like the disciple Peter by some anti God person. Who knows? Maybe my prediction is that I won't die, but I'll live until the rapture, when Jesus Christ takes us to Heaven.
10/05/07- Homecoming ----------------> Who will win? Predict the score.
Okay, I'm trying to get ready for the game right now. Therefore I will make it short, sweet, simple, and to the point. I hope we win, but I hope the other team does at least have the opportunity to score once. I know that I would hate it if I lost with the score of zero. Well, I have to go put up signs with Raze if I make it on time. Oh and my prediction of the score is us: 34 them: 17. I don't know why. They were just random numbers that popped into my head go figure! Anyways, watch me end up losing my voice tonight then croaking at the dance. Yipes! That's a scary thought!

Twilight
Publication date: September 2005
Page count: 498
2. Plot summary (avoiding major spoilers when possible):
The story begins with a teenage girl named Bella who decides to live with her lonesome father in Forks. She does this because she doesn't want to really hold her mother and her new husband Phil down. When Bella first gets there, the locals practically isolate, and they stare at her a lot too. Not to mention, the guys seem to stare with strange curiosity. Even she caught a lot of guys' attention, a certain teenage boy has her attention- Edward Cullen. There's something strange about that family, but she just can't put her finger on it. Why do they miss school so much for a long time? Especially when it's sunny. Why did Edward skip class when they were doing a lab that required taking some blood? When she goes to La Push, she sees an old friend- Jacob Black. He warns her about a legend his father believed to be true. One about the wolves and the blood suckers. However, she makes a new friend named Jessica, and after they become friends, others practically line up wanting to be friends with her. Finally, Edward warms up to her, and eventually things change a lot. Edward confesses his secret to Bella- he's a vampire. That's not the only problem. A misunderstanding leads her into deep trouble with a tracker. This vampire wants her and he won't take no for an answer. Now everyone she loves is at stake. Now she'll find out if Edward's love is really worth the pricey cost.

3. What is the setting, and why is it important to the novel?
The setting of this story takes place in Forks, Washington. It is a very important setting because it is damp, dark, dreary, it has plenty of forests, and it's population is low. All those qualities are important for a vampire. You see, when they go out in the sunlight, the tend to shimmer (if you want more details read the book!). I know you're probably thinking, "So! What difference does that make?" Well, it does make a lot of a difference. It's difficult to explain too, but let's just say that it's almost completely obvious that they don't look human at all in the sunlight. Also they have perfect hide outs and hunting grounds provided by the forest. It also gives the vampires the opportunity to live a "somewhat" human life in an environment that isn't overly crouded.
4.Who are the main characters, and what roles do they play in the novel?
The main characters are Bella Swan, Charlie Swan, Renee and James, The Cullen Family, Jessica, and Mike. Bella plays the main character because the whole book is pretty much about her. Her character plays the "new kid on the block" and falls in love with the dreamy "everyday" Romeo. The Cullen Family plays the role of Bella's "family" because they have warmed up to her so much that they treat her like family. Edward Cullen plays the role of her romantic yet dangerous boyfriend. Renee is Bella's mother, who's constantly nagging her to e-mail her about her life in Forks, and Phil is herBella's stepdad who gives her a Linkin Park CD. Charlie is Bella's real dad who she goes to live with, and he is Chief Police in Forks. Jessica is practically the first friend Bella makes, and she introduces her to her other friends such as Mike. Mike is not only one of Bella's friends, but he is also a guy who finds that he really likes her too.
5. What is/are the main conflict(s) in the novel?
The main conflicts in the novel are whether Bella and Edward will be together because he does not want to kill her. The other conflict is between Edward and James, and Bella and James. Bella has a conflict with James because he wants to kill her, and he's practically threatening her by "using" her family. Edward and James have a conflict because whenever somebody puts Bella, the love of his life, in danger, then he feels as he he must destroy them. The last conflict is whether Bella should stay in Forks or not. I'd give you more details, but that would spoil the book.
6. Describe the climax of the novel.
When it is known that the trackers are near, Bella goes into hiding. Later, though she receives a call from the head hunter-James. He is the one who wanted her, or at least to drink her blood. He lures her into a trap, her old dance studio. James tricks her into thinking that he's got her mother with him, but it turns out it was just a home video of her mother. Renee was still in Florida safe. Finally, she realizes that there is no way out until the Cullens arrive, but are they too late?
7. What is the significance of the book's title? Is the title appropriate, or would I change it to something else?
The significance of the book title is it's the one time that Edward is most likely not hunting. The time that the two can be together when he's not thirsty. I believe that the title is most definetely appropriate for this book. I wouldn't even dream of changing a title such as "Twilight". For some reason, it seems catchy, but I can't explain why. Probably because it is unique and creative.
8. What is my opinion about this book? Why (give specifics)?
I believe that this book is just amazing because of the suspence, drama, and love. When the hunters came in this book, I could barely put it down. Whenever it was time to put our books away or the bell rang, I didn't want to put it down. I just wanted to refuse because it was just that good! It seemed as if everytime while I was in the middle of reading it, it was okay, but when I left off, it was at a suspensful part. Just my luck, huh? The love between Bella and Edward was just wonderful to read. When I read the part about her visiting him at his house, I couldn't help myself from just reading some parts over and "aww"ing.

9/20-07-
Which fast food frenzy should open in Keyser?
Which one should we get rid of?
Okay, we already have just about every pizza place in Keyser so I don't think we need anymore. We should have a taco bell!! YO QUIERO TACO BELL!!!!! Okay, I'm not that obsessed with it though. Hmm. Which one should we get rid of you ask? Good and simple question- Vocelli's because they don't even know where Keyser High School is. Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. *Now I've got that country song stuck in my head. Oh well, at least it's good one*
9/21/07-
Continuing with the food theme: Have you ever eaten an octopus? Would you?
What is this Green Eggs and Ham? Well then, let me put it in that perspective. On second thought, I don't feel like quoting Dr. Seuss today. Anyways, I never had octopus because the only seafood I eat is shrimp. I would never eat octopus because I can't even finish my answer in fear I might get sick.
9/24/07- Are you (or were you) nervous to get your driver's license?
I'm the type of girl that "freaks out" when put under pressure. Of course I'm nervous! I don't even have my permit yet, but I have an A+ in Driver's Ed. Maybe I won't do so bad! I hope I'll do fine.
9/25/07 Is punishing the whole class for the transgression of a few fair? Is it effective?
Before I say my opinion, remember that I'm saying what I think politely, but only because you asked us to answer. Punishing the whole class was not fair at all even if life isn't meant to be fair. The people who were talking excitedly amongst themselves should have been given a warning, and if they were to keep talking in that anxious manner then you could punish those particular people. The rest of the class couldn't help the fact that we were in the same room as the others, and we can't control their actions either. Please keep that in mind.
9/26/07- Video games: Which one has fretted the most of your life away? (Not your favorite, necessarily- just the one you've played the most.)
Okay, I love all my amazing video games, but I've spent most of my time playing four awesome video games equally. Here's my top four:
4. Kingdom Hearts
3. Thrillville
2. Super Mario/ Duck shooting game (1989 version)(Oh yeah!)
1. Dance Dance Revolution Super Nova
Yes, these are all perfect video games to waste my time doing, but right now I don't really have much time to play them. In fact, I haven't played any of them since about the first week of school! I feel as if I'm being grounded from them. =(
9/27/07- Video games: which one is the most fun to watch others play?
Okay, a lot of video games are fun to watch, but there is one that's even funny to watch too- Dance Dance Revolution Super Nova!!!!! Honestly, it is! When we had a "science class" at 4H Camp, we played this game instead of learning, and let me tell you it was very entertaining. What's more fun than watching other people trip over their feet? It was very funny for people to see Ryan and I playing this game together because he had to help teach me, and I still messed up a lot! I am the champion as far as losing. I lost every game I played... wait... I take that back... I think I won one game.
9/28- Video Games: Do violent video games negatively influence those who play them? Will playing violent video games make someone a violent person???
I believe that it depends on the level of maturity the person contains. If they are mature enough, I feel as if the person can play it without having a negative influence from the game. However, if they are immature, I would suggest that they don't even plan on playing the game because it could most likely/ most definitely have a negative impact on them.

Daily Oral Language
9/10- Put those Japanese iris bulbs next to the daffodils, Pam, if you want an attractive display next spring.
9/11- Terry doesn't run very well, but he always enters Run For Your Life, a five-mile race held on Labor Day.
9/12- Neither of my parents is able to take me to the Village theater to see Oscar Wilde's play The Importance of Being Earnest.
9/13- Adriana, please set those books of Shakespeare's plays on this stand; we'll be using them later in class.
9/14- Shawn said that neither of the singers was professionally trained, but their rendition of "Maria" was stunning.
9/17-Neither my friend nor my sister has the time to address these envelopes; maybe some else can help.
9/18- Rob told us, "The picture has not been hung properly, and it will have to be taken down and done correctly.
9/19- Keiko and I have to order these items: two dozen pizzas, three cases of juice, and, I suppose, enough placemats for everyone attending the festival.
9/10- Comment on the salty hamburger story.
I don't know what you are talking about. What is this "salty hamburger story" you speak of? Well, since I don't know, my final jurisdiction is no comment. Okay, I just heard the story. Yup, it's dumb.
9/11- Do you think 9/11 happened as reported, or was/is there a sinister conspiracy/cover- up?
I wouldn't know. All I know is that this cruel world is full of backstabbers so you can hardly trust anyone. Too many people turn on their friends, but would the government turn on us? It's a harsh world.
9/12- Would you consider Britney Spears fat?
I don't know if she's fat, but why are we so worried about her weight. There are obese people in the world, but size shouldn't even matter. Why judge her? See, instead of worrying about how "glamorous" the celebrities lives are,we need to worry about things that are important. There are people dying on the battlefield fighting for our country and all we can do is document celebrities lives? That's pathetic. Move on! Enough is enough!
9/13- Do you prefer this year's "enrichment" block to last year's study hall/tutoring? Explain.
Last year, I had Mrs. Woy first semester so, of course, it was really fun. Then I had Mrs. Glass who helped us get our homework done quicker because she started class earlier. Mr. Liston is really nice too, and he doesn't really make it boring, but the others don't either. So, if anything, it's equal.
9/14- "Cheaters never prosper."<------------ True statement?
Last year, Fort Hill cheated during the game. Okay, I'll be honest, I didn't really watch much of the game. I'm sorry? If they did cheat, which I'm pretty sure they did, then it should "come back to haunt them." It didn't they won... again! I guess some cheaters do prosper! Maybe we should hire new referees. Yeah. Did you notice the dumb signs too? They can't even spell tornado!!!! Not to mention their sign was upside down. Emmmmbarrassing. We might not have won that game, but at least we have common sense. However, their band has very kind people, and they really liked our show! I wish them good luck, but only them!
9/17- It is better for you location (house, classroom, etc.) to be too cold or too hot.
Wow! What a question I find very amusing! So difficult to answer. Hmmm. Decisions. Decisions. I'd pick too cold because I can sometimes adjust to it quickly. If hot hands, coats, blankets, under armor, etc. are available, I will survive! Also, if there is one thing that I've learned with marching band it's, you can layer up more than you can dress down. When it's too hot, you can dehydrate quicker too. Also, I play my trumpet better when it's cold. If it's cold enough, at night, I can hold my mouthpiece up to the light, blow through it, then watch "flames" come out the end. IT'S SO COOL! (literally!)
9/18- Invent a new candy bar. Describe it's composition and name it.
Okay. I'm sorry, and I even didn't want to be the one to tell you this. I can't tell you. It's a secret like Willy Wonka's was. Well, sort of. See if I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise, but I can tell you this..... it has chocolate. Now for the truth. I'm not making any candy because I don't want to. I don't feel like inventing something like that! I'm sorry, but I'm not the candwoman.
9/19- Continuing with the food theme: Which McDonald's item should be permanently removed from the menu?
Okay, let's face it, McDonald's is known for greasy, extremely unhealthy food that everyone is appealed to. It is also known for outrageous arrests for salty hamburgers. So what should be taken off the menu? Fish Sandwiches because they stink, are unappetizing, and they look disgusting. Honestly, they look like some random person took Spongebob deep fried him, threw him on bread, and put the sauce on him. I find that disturbing so take it off the menu.

Journal Topics
9/04- In honor (sort of) of the holiday: What's the worst type of labor?
I wouldn't really be a reliable source for this question. You see, the only work I do would be considered chores, and they aren't that complex. However, even though this is most likely off the subject, I will be working at a day care center next summer. Therefore, I will have a better idea as far as what real work is.
9/05- Should Michael Vice ever be allowed to return to the NFL?
I may not watch much football, but I do know that what Vick did was wrong regardless of how famous he is due to this sport. The way he treated the poor dogs was unacceptable. Not only should he ever play football again, he should be sentenced to many, many years in prison for sick cruelty. He somehow needs to see what he did to those animals. He can say sorry all he wants, but he can't mend the damage he has caused. What's done is done, and those poor animals did not deserve that punishment for not being an animal version of Hulk!
9/06- Which city/ landmark in the "main land" U.S. would you most like to visit? Explain.
Each summer, I go to Ocean City, Maryland. That is where I'm happy, and I really don't mind if I can't go anywhere else. It's so much fun making a new memory each year, but I still love West Virginia best!
9/07- Two weeks in (respectfully): grade the new principals.
Well, it's been two weeks with our new principals, Ms. Twigg and Mr. Saturday. As Far as I've noticed, they really like to talk to the students, and they are nice too. That's why they each shall receive an A.

What was your most memorable summer adventure?
I didn't really have any specific adventure, but I did have some fun making memories that will last a lifetime. About three days before band camp, yeah sunburn, the trumpet section had practice that was arranged by our wonderful section leader Katie. We were in the basement of the church that Ashley's dad preaches at. Out of nowhere, we started hearing footsteps getting closer, and once the person entered the room we screamed, except for Tyler. The woman apologized for startling us and said she needed to get something, but when she went to turn around to leave she smacked her face right into the coat rack then left. Well, we started to continue our practice. Later, we heard footsteps again. So, we searched the church over and over again upstairs and downstairs while Tyler sang Phantom of the Opera. Nothing showed up so we went back downstairs to try again to continue our practice. Once again, about five minutes later we heard footsteps. Right when we looked out the door, Mark Elliot screamed from behind us, " What are we all looking at?" When we heard that, we screamed as loud as we could as he watched us laughing hysterically. I'll never forget how much fun that practice was.
